Wayne County Historical Society Meeting
April 18th, 2017 7:00 PM
Location: The historical society’s meeting room
From 2014 through 2018, the United States and nations around the world will mark the centennial of World War I, including the entry of the United States into the war in April 1917. The centennial of World War I offers an opportunity for people in the United States to learn about and commemorate the sacrifices of their predecessors. For our program on April 18, we will have a WWI Overview video produced by the United States World War One Centennial Commission. We will also discuss ways in which our local society can honor the memory of those who served from Wayne County.
